There are presentations from ADOA Benefits, Social Security Administration, Retiree Accumulated Sick Leave (RASL), Deferred Compensation, and Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Webinars are 9 am - 3:30 pm on the dates listed below.

- When you enroll as a retiree, you establish a new account, and ADOA closes your employee account. You must resubmit supporting documents, such as marriage and birth certificates, for your covered dependents, since we cannot transfer them to your retirement account. If you are enrolled in Medicare, include your Medicare card or entitlement letter.

You can use the online SHIP Locator at shiphelp.org or call 877-839-2675 and say “Medicare” when prompted.

SHIP counselors can help with:- Making informed decisions about care and benefits
- Understanding coverage and costs
- Answering questions about what Medicare does and doesn't cover
- In addition to the mandatory Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) pension plan, State employees may voluntarily enroll in the AZ Smart Save Deferred Compensation Plan.
- These state employee retirement investment plans, 457(b) and 401(a), are similar to a 401(k) in the private sector and are administered by Nationwide Retirement Solutions.
